National Geographic brings you President Obama's first flight on Air Force One January 20.

As the nation prepares for the historic inauguration on January 20, 2009, the Presidential Airlift Group (PAG) also prepares for the momentous transition.

In a single day, one man will take the reins as U.S. president for the first time, while another bids his final farewell.

National Geographic Channel (NGC) will be there, with access to President-elect Barack Obama's first flight and President George W. Bush's last official flight in the world premiere film On Board Air Force One, premiering on Sunday, January 25, at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

Then, at 9 p.m. ET/PT the same night, Nat Geo will take flight with On Board Marine One for an in-depth look at the presidential helicopter fleet.

Reports from National Geographic headquarters in DC is that the town is going absolutely nuts with excitement and the crowds are building steadily.

If you crave immediacy, follow the Air Force One on Twitter through the inauguration week, with trivia and up-to-the-minute updates: http://twitter.com/NGC_AirForceOne.

You can also submit your questions to Col. Mark Tillman, Presidential Airlift Group Commander, through Twitter.
