The series has never been darker or more full of despair.The driving force of the series was the promise of Earth, and what it held for the scattered humans of the twelve colonies. The sheer crush of this news makes Mary McDonnell's character Roslin face the facts she will have to deliver the disappointing news.The fifth Cylon, revealed in Friday night's Season 5 premiere is Kate Vernon, who plays Ellen Tigh in the series.Was this what you expected?
