Mr. Fox Goes to Washington as “Extra” joins the inaugural celebration – From the glamorous galas to the high fashion and celebrity guests.
Fox is traveling across the country, making his way to the festivities and sharing his video diary.
On his journey through Denver, Chicago, Boston and New York, Fox has been talking about this memorable event to regular citizens including everyday Americans at truck stops and the neighborhood bartender as well as fellow NBA stars like Magic Johnson and Kobe Bryant.
Fox takes viewers on an Obama-inspired tour, visiting Chicago’s Grant Park in which the president-elect made his emotional acceptance speech and Denver’s Invesco Field made famous by the Democratic National Convention.
His kids and even his ex-wife, Vanessa Williams, will join him in New York and they’ll head south to D.C. for the final stop. Fox, who’s in the process of acquiring his own U.S. citizenship, tells “Extra” how important it is to him and wants his children to witness this historic event. But as he heads to the nation’s capitol, Fox has only one goal in mind! “I want to play b-ball against the new president,” Fox exclaims!
“EXTRA’S” SPECIAL INAUGURATION COVERAGE STARTS TODAY, FRIDAY, JANUARY 16th AND WILL CONTINUE THROUGH TUESDAY, JANUARY 20th.
