US actor Edward James Olmos - “Battlestar Galactica” on the Sci Fi Channel is in its final season. EPA/Ana SosaThe show is one of the finest dramas on television and certainly one of the best on the entire Sci Fi channel. The continuum of the diaspora of the twelve colonies' survivors led by Commander Adama has woven layers of unanswered stories of impending apocalypse.Friday night’s new episode will kick off the show’s final 10 installments. There will be a long time character who is killed off; the crew and their Cylon allies will rediscover Earth and the rumored 12th Cylon will stay unknown until the show is aired.The series was highlighted by the excellence of Edward James Olmos (Adama) and co stars Mary McDonnell and James Callisas' performances, who portrayed President Roslin and Gaius Baltar respectively.Both Olmos and MCDonnell appeard on The View January 15th:
