Whiskey Falls was named 2008’s “Breakout Band of the Year” by Nashville’s Music Row, and were featured in many major publications.
They have made appearances on national television as well as being featured in television commercials for Fox Sports, Major League Baseball, and AAMCO Transmissions.
Now the band can add "Musical Director" to their collective resume.
Whiskey Falls has been engaged to create all the music and the theme song for the upcoming Spike TV series “Toughest Cowboy,” a new eight-episode, one hour series from reality kingpin producer Mark Burnett.
The new sports-competition reality series premieres Thursday, January 29 at 11:00pm ET/PT.
"Writing for an album and for television at the same time was a new and exciting challenge for us, and of course we are thrilled to be performing in arenas in some of our favorite cities," says Whiskey Falls’ Seven Williams.
“Toughest Cowboy” features twelve competitors in one of the world’s fastest-growing sports.
These cowboys must ride in three dangerous disciplines each night – bareback riding, saddle bronc riding, and bull riding – a true test of endurance in modern rodeo competition.
One competitor will be eliminated each week in a sudden elimination bull ride match, with the ultimate Toughest Cowboy Champion winning the deed to a spectacular ranch in the Rocky Mountains of Wyoming.
Catch Whiskey Falls as they appear and perform along the Toughest Cowboy Live Tour Schedule.
