Nickelodeon debuts “Kisses & Misses,” Saturday, Jan. 3 (8-10 p.m. ET/PT), as characters from hit series iCarly and True Jackson, VP pucker up for their first prime-time smooches in brand-new, surprise-filled episodes.

The lineup also includes encores of the Drake & Josh episode titled “Megan’s First Kiss” featuring iCarly star Miranda Cosgrove and an episode of H20 titled “Love Potion #9.”
First an amazing turn of events at 8 p.m. on iCarly, which capped 2008 as the number-one kids’ show with K6-11 on all of television.
From Nick:
Quarrelsome Sam (Jennette McCurdy) and put upon Freddie (Nathan Kress) try to unlock horns long enough to solve a problem. In the episode premiere “iKiss” the two “frenemies” consider breaking out the breath mints to fix their mutual predicament: Neither has ever been kissed.
The real-life prospect of a first screen kiss was daunting for McCurdy, 16, who thought of lightening the mood. “I totally wanted to have a stinky breath contest. That would have been funny,” says the 16-year-old whose sassy Sam shows a sweeter side in the episode. She won’t say if Sam and Freddie can put a lid on their bickering long enough to seal the deal. “Kids will have to tune in.”
After Sam overhears Freddie make the embarrassing confession to Carly (Cosgrove), she exposes his secret on iCarly, inciting merciless teasing of the poor teen at school. An uncharacteristically remorseful Sam steps before web cameras, reveals that she's in the same boat and tells everybody to stop giving Freddie a hard time. After a heart-to-heart, the duo inch toward striking an unusual deal that could solve their dilemma.
Next up on True Jackson, VP at 8:30 p.m., True (Keke Palmer) wonders whether a kiss from her secret crush is just a “thank you” or something more.
In the all-new episode “The Prototype,” True lends Lulu (Ashley Argota) a dress to wear to the Hansen Academy dance, unaware that it’s a one-of-a-kind design. The young VP then helps Mad Style’s cute mail room clerk, Jimmy (Robbie Amell), who is the boss’s nephew and her secret crush, get a first gig with his band at the very same shindig. As Jimmy’s words once encouraged True to navigate the choppy waters at Mad Style, True buoys his confidence by affirming that he’s “more than just the mail guy.” Thankful for the gig, Jimmy gives True a kiss that startles them both.
Turning up as mischievous Megan at 9 p.m., Cosgrove equivocates as to whether the kiss for her character actually will come off in Drake & Josh’s encore episode, “Megan’s First Kiss.” “Drake has kissed plenty of girls, and now it’s Megan’s turn,” says the star of iCarly and Drake & Josh. Let’s just hope that Drake and Josh don’t mess it up.” In the episode, Megan (Cosgrove) has been extremely secretive leading Drake (Drake Bell) and Josh (Josh Peck) to investigate what she's up to. The clues lead to a new boyfriend, and all seems wonderful until they find out Megan's new beau may be trouble.
At 9:30 p.m., H20’s "Love Potion #9" seals the night with a kiss for Cleo (Phoebe Tonkin) at the school dance.
But first, Lewis must find a way to avoid water disasters and conceal all three girls’ secret mermaid powers with a waterproof spray. Totally embarrassed, the girls escape to the moon pool. Ultimately, Lewis learns of Cleo’s romantic feelings for him.
