New York music legend Lou Reed will be chatting with Declan on the Sundance channel this Wednesday night.

"Spectacle: Elvis Costello with Lou Reed & Julian Schnabel" premieres Wednesday, December 10.
Costello, born Declan Patrick MacManus, welcomes rock icon Lou Reed and artist-filmmaker Julian Schnabel. Reed is not an easy "get" for bookers, and his reticence for interviews makes this all the more important for you to catch.
Reed broke out during his Velvet Underground days as music's Prince of Darkness - he talks about the early years and more with Costello, revealing himself to be a witty raconteur. He speaks movingly about his love of R&B, New York, art and the mysteries of writing and creativity.
In addition, Lou's close friend and collaborator (on the film "Berlin"), Julian Schnabel, joins the fray mid-show, to both heartbreaking and hilarious effect, contributing candid and personal remarks, as well as a totally spontaneous spoken-word performance.
Lou breaks down one of his classic compositions on guitar, and then joins Elvis for two amazing performances.
