HBO Rome fans gather up: There may be hope for more

I was such a die hard Rome lover....I would love a movie to be made with the same characters...but alas, Mark Antony is dead- he was one of my favorites- what a temper! I miss the show- hbo was beyond silly to pull the plug on this series. It was beautifully shot and acted.

Dear Doona, I could agree with you more, as a great fan myself of ancient rome and it's history, after the cancellation of ROME. I wrote a letter to both the chairman of the BBC and HBO in amercia about here taking the ultimate in wrong decision making, but neither deemed me with their reply.
Let us hope Kevin McKidd and Ray Stevson can get a movie made to take us all back to Rome.

OMG!!! i would so love to see Rome back in action. i love that series so much and was just heartbroken when i reolized it was coming to an end. i was so angered that i cancelled HBO for quite some time. Rome is/was one of the best shows i just couldn't get enough of. i was completely addicted to it, and when it got taken away from me, i had to sober myself with that reality.

i watch any rerun clips whenever i can, and i'm hoping that some day i would get to see it on VOD. (but then i would probably never get anything done here at home watching it all the time.) i am planning on buying the dvd box set...ok that's besides the point... i would love to see a movie to tie up all the loose ends... please make the movie!!! or better yet, find a way to bring back the series! (dreaming) but i will take anything!!! i miss it sooo much! give me my Rome 'fix'. :)
