Twilight mania spilled into the smallscreen this morning.
Film stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart of the monster phenomenon known as "Twilight" were on the Today Show, and their fans swamped the studio.
The two are shocked by their new found fame, as fans have been lining up and camping out in anticipation for the premiere, tomorrow night, November 21st.
Robert Pattinson finds himself the top of the "hot": He is a young British stunner who plays Edward Cullen, Twilight's conflicted teenage vampire.
Sporting creamy skin, full lips and big eyes, Pattinson has perfected the modern male bedroom stare that snares Bella, played by Kristen Stewart.
Author Stephenie Meyer's series of books has replaced Harry Potter as the series to read for teenagers.
Bella (Kristen Stewart), who has come to Forks, Wash., to live with her police-chief dad, meets her Edward in biology class, and she affects him deeply.
The two told TODAY that they both were unfamiliar with the literary franchise the film is based on prior to their accepting the roles.
The two were led out to their fans where pandemonium broke out. NBC Studios at Rockefeller Center in New York City was ringed by screaming and crying fans.

Meridith did a very good job interviewing them. These two young actors have a bright future. I hope they don't screw it up like many celebrities before them. Rob seem very grounded and definitely in shock of the sudden fame. Kristen has some experience in this 'lifestyle' and it seems to agree with her. Definitely anticipating upcoming movies from them. Maybe going into a different genre of flicks I can see Kristen in an action flik and Rob in a comedy lol. I've read all four books and these 'young ones' have a lot to face. Hope the pressure don't get to them. Then again, it would be kind of hard with all the fans screaming in their ears. Just a little advice for these young actors. DON'T FORGET ABOUT YOUR FANS THEY ARE THE KEY TO YOUR SUCCESS. It seems no matter what you go through in life people seem to find the good in everyone. Okay so a little cheesy. toodles.

They both just look in shock. You can tell they don't know what to do around all those fans. I love when Rob asked 'But why?' poor teenage girls didn't how to respond!
