The athlete was paired with pro dancer Cheryl Burke.
His journey ended in the eight week of the dance show, which has also bid adieu to Cloris Leachman, Misty May-Treanor, Kim Kardashian and Toni Braxton this season.
Greene was up for elimination against actor Cody Linley. They each tied for the lowest scores– 48 out of 60–after Monday’s ballroom, solo and Latin-themed dances.
“I had a lot of fun. I made a lot of good friends out here. I learned how to dance out here in front of millions of people every night. I had a great time,” Greene told co-host Samantha Harris during the post-mortem.
The remaining four couples are Brooke Burke and Derek Hough, Warren Sapp and Kym Johnson, Lance Bass and Lacey Schwimmer and Cody Linley and Julianne Hough.
