Actor Mario Lopez, host of Extra and Randy Jackson's MTV Dance Crew show, had a one-on-one with media blitzing presidential candidate Senator Barack Obama.

Lopez asked Obama what his mother would say if she were here.
“Don’t let it go to your head,” was Obama's answer.
Them, Lopez asked why conservative Latinos like Miami's Cuban community should vote for him.
Six days before the election, Lopez lands the most candid and fun interview yet with Barack Obama.
Obama tells Lopez if his late mother were alive today, “She would be obviously very proud. But I think the main thing she would say is, ‘Don't let it go to your head.’”
Lopez asks Obama, “Senator, many voters in the Latino community have conservative values. Why should we vote for you?”
Obama responds, “The Latino community I think is an inspirational community. It doesn't want things for free, it works hard … and I just want to make sure that hard work is rewarded and that's not what's happening right now. We need change.”
And what about wife Michelle’s nickname for him, “Pumpski?"
“She just makes it up…I think it sort of went from pumpkin to Pumpski.”
Lopez asks, “Do you have a nickname for her?” Obama reveals, “I just call her `yes, ma'am.’”
Lopez asks Obama how he fits daily workouts into his hectic schedule. Obama jokes, “Now, I’m not in Mario Lopez shape but it’s really good just to work out stress… I usually get up about six. Get my workout in.”

Mario: Favorite president?
Obama: Lincoln.
Mario: Smartest person you've ever met?
Obama: My wife.
Mario: Best day of your life.
Obama: The day my first daughter was born.
