By April MacIntyre Oct 29, 2008, 17:47 GMT
Rappers M.O.P. claim wrestler John Cena and the WWE illegally used one of their songs for John's entrance music at a WWE televised event.
Jamal Grinnage and Eric Murray (Lil' Fame and Billy Danze) according to TMZ.com are suingover the usage of the song, "The Time Is Now," saying it "borrows heavily from their hit single, Ante Up."
The lawsuit alleges WWE's lawyers had a receptionist sign off on the song rights usage paperwork.
TMZ claims the line of "BRRR Abado" -- that appears in the original song is the crux of the comparison for the rappers.
The rappers reportedly want the "destruction of Cena's song and $150K from the defendants.".

somekind of bad news getting that Cena and the WWE are been sued for the song used by Cena for his intro. i always loved the hit and knew and could argue anywhere that it belonged to him.well, just hopes that he over come this and the WWE with the lawyers see what they can do.GOD save us all
i think that they shouldnt have sued cuz john made up all his own words. i think he should counter sue

i think that is kind of sad that john and the wwe are being sued for this. i always thought that john made that song up. i never knew that cena never actually made the whole song. either way, i hope john and the wwe win this case.
