Lindsay Lohan cut from 'Ugly Betty'

Word on the smallscreen street is Lindsay Lohan, who recently swam in the same pool water at the Roosevelt in Hollywood where a guy was discovered dead at the bottom, will not be returning to "Ugly Betty" as a guest star.

In all fairness, she may not have known that the 30 year-old man was discovered  dead, fished out, and then hotel authorities allegedly quietly made the decision to not change the pool water, based on the chlorine levels they had used. 

Los Angeles radio personalities Kevin and Bean remarked on their show this morning that it was appalling not even a "courtesy flush" was ordered to clean and disinfect the pool.

Now E! sources close to ABC's "Ugly Betty" confirm Lohan has been cut from the show.

"They don't plan to have her back for more episodes," says a high-level insider. "And they are cutting her out of the episodes they have already shot."

E! claims that Lindsay was not gelling creatively with the series. "She was not so
interested in creating a character," another reliable insider close to Betty told the entertainment website.  "She was more interested in just playing herself, and
that doesn't work on a show like this with such heightened reality."
