Despite not-so-robust ratings, the critically acclaimed series has been given a full-season order, the trade papers report.
It joins the time-period competition, "Chuck" on NBC, to get a full-season order coming out of a strike-blighted first year.
According to Variety, "The Sarah Connor Chronicles" averages about 5.9 million viewers per week thus far, down more than 3 million viewers from its first-season average. It's drawing a 2.5 rating in the adults 18-49 demographic, making the show third-place and tied (with "Chuck") in its 8 p.m. Monday timeslot.
The addition of Shirley Manson (Garbage) as Catherine Weaver was hailed by many critics as genius casting.
This series is set after the events in the 'Terminator 2' film, and sees Sarah Connor and her son John trying to lay low from the government as they plot to destroy the computer network Skynet in hopes of preventing an almost certain Armageddon.
