"I had an affair with my stepmother when I was 12," revealed George Hamilton.
Hamilton was non plussed as he spoke casually about the affair, insisting: "It was very normal."
He denied he was a victim in the shock confession and insisted he was "without guilt" towards his father George Sr. over his step-mother June Howard's criminal act.
"When I was very young, 12, I had a relationship with my stepmother. She was about 28, 30," Hamilton said to the "View" ladies.
"My father never knew about it. It was very normal. She didn't make me feel bad about it...was I molested? Damn, I'm down for it again,' he joked.
"From my point of view it wasn't something so crazy - I don't think it warped me in my life." Hamilton said he revisited his creepy affair with Howard years later.
"It went on for a short period of time, when I was 12, and then strangely enough when I was of age and I was an actor in Hollywood I met her again. She was as beautiful, and we had a sort of follow up."
Hamilton was booked on "The View" plugging his published memoirs, "Don't Mind If I Do."
Hamilton laid out the scenario of the criminal seduction in his memoir:
"One rainy day, when Dad was at work, I was lying on the daybed in the living room where I had been sleeping...June, in an ice-blue peignoir, came over to join me...she didn't say anything. She just lay down beside me for a while, then mentioned something about 'cuddling'...what followed was as natural as the birds and bees neither of my parents had gotten around to telling me about....there was nothing film noir about it, other than the hard fact that I had just betrayed my father and had sex with my stepmother. Not that there was anything maternal about June. I didn't feel any family tie to her. I was without guilt, even toward my father.'
Hamilton's own mother Anne found his father having sex with June in a hotel room.
The Memphis native Hamilton's ex-wife, Alana Stewart-Hamilton, bore him a son Ashley, born in 1974.
He has a younger son, George Thomas Hamilton, with Kimberly Blackford.
Hamilton appeared on ABC reality competition series, "Dancing With The Stars" in 2006.
