Sarah Palin will appear on SNL this week.
Monsters reported October 11 that Alaskan Governor Sarah Palin would indeed be appearing on Saturday Night Live, and now that was reiterated by Larry King on his chat show while he hosted Bill Maher in a night of political analysis and commentary.
Maher was on with King to comment on the candidates' performances at The Alfred E. Smith Memorial Foundation Dinner, named for the former four-term governor of New York who was the unsuccessful Democratic presidential candidate in 1928 and the first Catholic to run for president.
The 63rd annual dinner was a lighthearted affair that saw McCain joke that he had replaced his entire team of senior advisers with a man named "Joe the Plumber."
Obama said there was no other crowd in America that he'd rather be "palling around with right now."
Larry King noted during his broadcast that vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin will make an appearance on this weekend’s “Saturday Night Live.”
“We’ve just confirmed that Sarah Palin will appear on “Saturday Night Live” on Saturday,” King said as he hosted Maher.
Earlier this week, Palin told reporters that she'd love to appear on the show with Fey, The Associated Press reported.
"I love her, she's a hoot and she's so talented," Palin said, according to the AP.
