Um, what do you mean 'The recent acceptance of fuller forms as becoming certainly the new standard for the American model'? Plus size models have been working within the industry for the last 25 years at least, and they still haven't reached the status or client volume as straight size girls. You are not being realistic.
Yes, they make decent money, and there is a demand for plus size girls, but they are not 'all of a sudden' turning the tide. They exist because clients need to hire them, but they will not, as Ms. Dickinson suggests, take over Paris, and why should they? They don't represent a societal ideal, no matter how proud they are of their curves. Ivory herself is a top Ford girl, and look how she's sold herself out to appear on this show and be brow-beaten by this hag - clearly her career isn't where she wants to be (even though, again, she is a top plus size model at Ford) if she still needs this kind of 'exposure.' Ugh.
For the record, I'm 5'10' and a size 12, well within the plus size modeling industry size requirements, and I'm able to accept reality and not whine too much about the situation.

Ms. Dickenson's problem is not with that of her physicality standards or criteria in 'her own modeling agency world.' Her primary problem is with her own distorted thinking that, left alone, would decimate the future of 'modeling.' The recent acceptance of fuller forms as becoming certainly the new standard for the American model, let alone the rest of the fashion and modeling world, should have adequately warned gals like J.D. to prepare themselves for a new future that reaches FAR more markets and dollars! Wake up Ms. Dickenson. You've got a tiger by the tail! (no pun intended)
