Bruce Springsteen booked for NFL Super Bowl half-time

NBC and the NFL have announced that Bruce Springsteen will headline the Super Bowl half-time show. NBC reported nearly 149 million people tuned in to last year's halftime, which featured classic rockers Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers.Springsteen's addition guarantees a potential record breaking viewership, as he joins a list of recent halftime performers that includes Petty, Janet Jackson, Prince and the Rolling Stones.The NFL has kept to classic rock bands after the famous nipplegate Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake breast-baring incident that caused a huge headache for the league.
