The belle of the Saget roast ball, Oscar-winning actress Cloris Leachman was rejected twice for "Dancing with the Stars."
She reveals to Extra that the rejections were all before her landing a spot on the show this season.
Leachman explains, “I wanted to do it so my people asked their people to do it and they said, ‘No, too old’…Few months later, we went back again and no…Few months went by and this time they set up a meeting and we had a long, very good meeting and fell in love with each other.”
Despite being the oldest contestant on the hit television show, Leachman is considering a backstage romance.
She says, “I keep asking my partner [Corky Ballas], ‘So you’re not attracted to me? Is it because I’m 82? I’m too old? Or because I’m not your type or I’m not sexy?’” When asked who has caught her eye, Leachman declares, “His son [Mark Ballas]. They have the same name. They look alike. They’re both wonderful dancers.”
As for wearing one of those sexy dance outfits, Leachman comments, “I won’t be in those skimpy costumes.”
Regarding the kiss between Leachman and "Full House" star John Stamos at last month’s Comedy Central Roast of Bob Saget, she admits, “It was a big surprise and lovely and wonderful and darling. Then he [Stamos] invited me to his birthday party a couple nights later, so went to that and he kissed me again in front of everybody!”

Pft...'serious?' Since when has DWTS been a 'serious' show?
Cloris Leachman has a foul mouth and I hope we don't have to listen to her again next week.

She will be on for awhile getting a sympathy/respect vote, then the show can get serious.
