MTV confirms Rihanna, Pink, T.I. and Paramore for VMAs

Rihanna, Pink, T.I. and Paramore are confirmed to appear for the VMAs.

MTV is giving fans an all access pass to the world’s biggest musical showcase with Rihanna, Pink, T.I. and Paramore all confirmed to perform at the “2008 Video Music Awards.”. 

For the first time on live television, multi-platinum songstress, Rihanna will perform her hit single “Disturbia” and self proclaimed King of the South, T.I. will perform a new single off his upcoming album Paper Trail. 

Pink gives a fiery performance of her new single, “Say What,” off her upcoming album Funhouse.  Fans will dig punkers Paramore as they perform their raw and energetic single “Misery Business” from their sophomore album RIOT!. 

Kid Rock, Lil Wayne and the Jonas Brothers have already been added to the list of performers at this year’s show. 

As previously announced, MTV’s 25th annual Video Music Awards will be hosted by the hirsute and hilarious Russell Brand and will air live and only one time in its original incarnation, on Sunday, September 7, 2008 at 9PM SHARP (Live ET/Tape Delayed PT).  You snooze you lose.

Presenters and additional performers for the “2008 Video Music Awards” will be announced at a later date.
