As soon as they get back home they will revert to their old ways as their idiot parents continue to provide la dolce vita. What the parents achieved by substituting things instead of taking the time to instill values into their children cannot be undone in one week. These poor excuses for humanity know that their extreme wardrobes, cars, jewels, pampering, and totaly self-centered existance is waiting for them upon their return. It would be far better if they were left there to work at the usual rate of compensation until they could earn their own way home.
I hope that they learn from this experience. I don't hold anything against them. Their parents are wealthy and provided them with everything ever wanted and needed. Just as a parent should (if they all had the money). There are alot of rich children who grow up to have their own careers and become successful.
The parents are trying to find a quick fix to all the damage they did to their child. That's what the show is. And it's not going to work.
wow i would do anything to have what they have and to be like these girl, they get anything they want when they want it and the mest up part is they take that for advange, so it was great for them to go away and to see other people, see what other cultures do and what they go through everyday, maybe they will learn something about life and that not everything will be giving to you, hopefuly they will grow up from this and learn about how the real world is......
congratulations to all patistipants of exile,so far,i am soo soo proud of ava,and all haters should burn de sea cuz every rich parent would like the child hav such a luxerious life including u .
I like the idea of these girls changing their lives at least for one week but what i really would like to see is the people that they stayed with come and stay with these brats and see what they can teach them about the U.S. culture.
i think these girls desreve this trip because not everybody gets what they want especially the way they get it. they get brand new cars and brand name clothes and think that everyone is just like them.
hey these lucky kids got it made. They were blessed with wealthy lifestyles and who would complain if they were in their situations. not me. the show is fun to watch though because they have no clue about anything and hopefully at least learn to appreciate what they have and take at least a little initiative to change at least something in their lives through this experience.who ever thought about doing a show like this was a good idea. i also agree with the person who said how it would have been better for them to actually work at minimum wage in order to purchase their tickets to get back home. now that would have been the best thing to watch ever. great idea.:)
The MTV producers went all the way to Thailand and did not even film the Thai Culture. The Thai culture are of Malayan ancestry, wear sarongs and live in grass huts. The MTV producers just went with their cameras swinging and were obviously just as clueless about the country they were going to. The Karen tribe crossed the borders and are immigrants to Thailand and learn to build grass huts from the Thai culture. That’s like sending Ladee to live with a Mexican girl who’s family crossed the border to the U.S. dropping her off in east Los Angeles and saying that this is how all Americans live. All MTV had to do was drop Ava on Skid Row in
Downtown Los Angeles where all the homeless Americans live in card board boxes to see real life. Skid Row is only 1 hour from Beverly hills. They did not even have to fly Ava to another country. All they had to do was drive her down the street to the other side of town. Why didn’t Ava’s family send her to Iran where they immigrated from. The parents still have an Iranian accent. Were they to ashame of their own culture? I know that alot of Iranians live in mud sand houses and I’m sure that the black head to toe covered robes that the women have to wear is not made by Gucci, Prada or Louis Vuitton.
All the children who comes on Exile are just spoil brats, who just needs to grow up and appreciate everything that there parents are doing for them.
i heartily agree with everything you said and add an 'amen' to your words...
