'The Tick' minisodes air Monday
By April MacIntyre Aug 16, 2008, 18:31 GMT

Tick fans rejoice: Patrick Warburton is back; hilarious and big. blue and invincible. "The Tick" is now being doled out in minisodes courtesy of Sony and their minisode network along with other animated heroes such as Spider-Man, Voltron, Roger Ramjet, He-Man and She-Ra.
Around two years ago the animation content on Sony’s "The Minisode Network" (found on Crackle.com, YouTube and MySpace) hit the Internet and has provided a wide range of properties ranging from The Jackie Chan Adventures to Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids, The Three Stooges to Dilbert.
Sony is investing heavily in older TV brands and franchises. Their short format network gives the viewers choice on how they want to enjoy them.
Minisodes are a new presentation of snippets of older TV shows, as well as new comedy shorts such as Crackle's comedy line ups that include "Gorgeous Tiny Chicken" and "The Roadents."
Audiences with short attention spans or time constraints can discover and reconnect with iconic characters and television series quickly at various video portals. The Minisode Network is accessed via Sony Pictures’ Crackle.com; YouTube; MySpace; Hulu; AOL; TidalTV; on mobile at Verizon Wireless’ V Cast Video and SprintTV; and direct to Sony BRAVIA TVs via BRAVIA Internet Video Link.
The shows are ad supported, and may be available for download-to-purchase in the near future.
The Tick minisode airs Monday.
Meet Arthur: accountant and wannabe super hero. After donning spandex, and taking in a few belts of liquid courage, he pukes, and stumbles on communists. Soon The Tick (Patrick Warburton) gets involved, saves Arthur's confidence, and Jimmy Carter!
