Actress Salma Hayek is putting on a producer's hat and collaborating with Merv Griffin Entertainment for a wedding-themed reality series project, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The actual show format has not been revealed yet, but it will revolve around weddings.
Currently the series is being pitched to broadcast and cable networks. Salma will executive produce along with Roy Bank, President of Television at Merv Griffin Entertainment and Jose Tamez, producing partner with Salma and her Ventanarosa Productions.
Recently Hayek broke off her engagement to Francois-Henri Pinault, the father of her daughter Valentina Paloma.
"The format is steeped in reality -- it's not contrived," said Roy Bank, president of television at Merv Griffin Entertainment, according to NYTimes.com. "It's a unique storytelling angle on weddings." It'd kind of have to be!
