Faced with the news of Pancreatic cancer, normally considered a quickly terminal condition, Patrick Swayze has beat the odds and praises his combination state-of-the-art laser tumor surgery, chemotherapy and a daily regimen of ginger root juice as his miracle cure.
The 55-year-old actor, looking thinner all over appeared healthy and happy as he made his way through LAX airport Sunday to take a flight to Chicago.
"I'm a miracle dude, I don't know why," Swayze told photographers.
The Daily Mail cited Swayze's cutting-edge surgery, chemotherapy and the nutritional supplements that included Ginger root juice as a daily tonic for the actor from a previous interview.
The actor was heading to Chicago where he's set to work on his new A&E drama, "The Beast."
Swayze's character is described as an unorthodox but effective FBI veteran who trains a new partner in his tough, psychologically clever style of agenting while himself being pursued by a secret IA team.
Swayze's character hazes his new partner as they work undercover, while the rookie is courted by an FBI team trying to enlist him as a double-agent in the bureau's investigation of his partner.
"The Beast" is produced by Sony Pictures Television and Scarlet Fire Entertainment.

I am also a pancreatic canser survivor. I am so happy for Patrick. My thoughts were with him. Thank God for him.
