My well-documented guiltiest pleasure of all this summer has come to an end. NBC's "Celebrity Circus", a reality show that only offered a bedazzled Wheel of Death trophy as the prize, along with an opportunity to expand one's physical abilities, ended last night.

I was at the rehearsal and taping on Tuesday, and watched judge Aurelia Cats perform her aerial trapeze act.

No one breathed, spoke or averted their eyes as she (in true feline form) made love to the trapeze bar and straps holding it. Mon dieu, that woman is flexible.

Handsome father of two, actor Antonio Sabato Jr. won in the finale of "Celebrity Circus" after scoring a perfect 10 for his performance last week on the NBC reality show. Stunning forty-something mom of two, Stacey Dash, was a close second.

The one contestant with the most boisterous posse backstage was "Jackass" star Jason "Wee Man" Acuna who really did face his "Everest" in this competition, as he told me back in May when we first sat down and chatted. He and Circus pro Vlad are tight as ticks now, even going to the Russian steam baths over on Pico for the classic Moscow cure all of sweating it out.

Sabato was ebullient backstage, as his ex girlfriend Virginia Madsen wrangled their son Jack and his daughter from another relationship.

"This has been one of the most gratifying experiences, and I loved having my kids here to see it," shared Sabato, who was being worked on by a masseuse for a terrible muscle spasm prior to show taping.

Sabato's publicist noted that he will reprise his former "General Hospital" character Jagger Cates on SoapNet's "General Hospital: Night Shift," the second season begins next Tuesday.
