Jennifer Coolidge to guest on 'The Closer'

The belle of the Lifetime cocktail party prior to the big Turner gala last Friday night was the comedic gem, actress Jennifer Coolidge, looking beautiful dressed in a form-fitting black dress.
Coolidge killed in many of Christopher Guest's movies and Legally Blonde. Now the news is she will guest star in an upcoming episode of TNT’s hit series The Closer.
In the episode entitled “Dial M for Provenza,” and Coolidge plays Angie Serabian, a dim woman married to the rich owner of a car dealership who winds up in the middle of an undercover sting operation.
Coolidge started her career doing improvisational comedy in New York and with Los Angeles’ famed Groundlings troupe.
On "Seinfeld," she made her smallscreen debut as a voluptuous masseuse, and since has had hilarious moments, notably this last season revamping her "lady cha-cha parts" on FX's Nip/Tuck, and has appeared on Friends, Sex and the City, Frasier and According to Jim.
Guest has cast her in many of his films: Best in Show, For Your Consideration, A Mighty Wind, and she has appeared in Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events, The Broken Hearts Club, Zoolander, Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me, A Night at the Roxbury and Trial and Error.
The “Dial M for Provenza” episode featuring Coolidge is set to air Monday, Aug. 11.
