MTV's Real World series is wrapping production.
This Wednesday, July 9, the final take for the seven remaining roommates on “The Real World: Hollywood.”
The network announces that leading up to the suspenseful finale to end the “greenest,” most star-studded thirteen weeks “The Real World” has ever seen, “Back to New York” housemate Coral adds edgy commentary to a drama-packed marathon airing on Friday, July 4 from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. ET/PT.
MTV announces that the first-ever live reunion will wrap up the season on Saturday, July 12.
The action concludes as the Hollywood Real Worlders try and make their mark in showbiz. MTV announces there will be a set visit to Entertainment Tonight and a final improv benefit show for Kimberly.
Chicago Joey wonders if he made the right decision to leave the house and Brittini hopes to get signed with a modeling agency.
Will reportedly starts seeing Janelle again, while Dave nurses a black eye.
The roommates perform their final show together at the iO West on Wednesday, July 9 (10:00 p.m. ET/PT) and bid Hollywood adieu.
MTV will run a six-episode marathon of “The Real World: Hollywood” to air Friday, July 4 (11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. ET/PT), hosted by former “Real World” roommate Coral (“Back to New York”).
Coral is blunt and is known to speak freely. Along with five of her friends – Paula (“Key West”), Brooke (“Denver”), Frank (“Las Vegas”), Wes (“Austin”) and Katie (“Road Rules Quest”), Coral Vision reinvents the marathon format, providing viewers with catty commentary.
MTV claims that in “The Real World” history, all nine roommates return one last time in an exclusive LIVE reunion on Saturday, July 12 (2:00 p.m. ET/PT). It's improv time as the roommates meet again for what the network describes as a groundbreaking airing that “The Real World” has yet to see.
MTV's “The Real World” was the avatar for modern reality television and is the longest-running reality series in history. Past seasons have taken place in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, London, Miami, Boston, Seattle, Hawaii, New Orleans, Chicago, Las Vegas, Paris, San Diego, Philadelphia, Austin, Key West, Denver and Sydney.
“The Real World” was created for MTV by Jon Murray and Mary-Ellis Bunim of Bunim-Murray Productions.
