Nicole Richie will appear in NBC's TV show 'Chuck'.
The 26-year-old star will make a guest appearance in the comedy spy series and have a girl fight with Yvonne Strahovski - who plays Sarah Lisa Walker, a CIA appointed minder to title character Chuck, played by Zachary Levi - in the programme.
Nicole's character will be a "sarcastic and spiteful girl who tortured Sarah at school", according to show insiders at NBC. In the episode, Sarah "must face her fears when she is forced to attend her 10-year high school reunion," after Nicole's character also shows up.
'Chuck' executive producer Josh Schwartz said: "Nicole auditioned for the part and was very funny. This role is a great opportunity for her to show off her comedic skills and be diabolically evil and kick some butt."
Nicole is the latest in a line of celebrity guests to cameo in 'Chuck'. Rachel Bilson and Kevin Weisman have also appeared.
Nicole's most famous TV role to date was in reality show 'The Simple Life' with her friend Paris Hilton which ran for five series.
She has also made guest appearances in '8 Simple Rules... for Dating My Teenage Daughter' and 'American Dreams'.
