Did not really seem gay, quite funny. Could of been made more funny though. Advertisers seem talent anaemic now. Coked up 'tards.
It could be taken however you want to take it. If it, indeed, is meant to depict a gay couple, so what. Most intelligent kids know what it's all about at a young age. It's the up-tight, older people who don't understand anything different than their own situation who would raise the most stink. True gay/lesbians are born that way just as any other person born 'different' than is considered 'normal' - autistic, celebral palsey, Down's Syndrone, missing body parts, etc.!!
The ad is terribly offensive. It offends a holy God. The one Who created us and tells us in His Word that homosexuality is a sin. Just as lying is a sin, lust is a sin (Jesus said anyone who lusts in his/her heart has committed adultery already) murder is sin, stealing is sin, blasphemy (using God's name in vain) is a sin. All of these things are sin and highly offensive to a holy God.
That is why this ad is offensive.
The homosexual community has tried succesfully for years to normalize their sin and try to make the rest of the world believe that it is just normal behavior and that there is really nothing wrong with it. That is a lie straight from the father of lies, the devil himself.
Sin is sin no matter how you slice it!
Because of our sin, everybody is already condemned to an eternal seperation from God in a place Jesus Christ described as horrible. He said weeping and gnashing of teeth would characterize this place...Hell.
God is Holy and just. He will judge all sinners according to His word and His righteousness. The floods of God's wrath are pounding against the flood gates of God's mercy and grace. One day and probably soon God's patience and mercy will give way to the flood of His holy wrath. His wrath will be poured out on all sinners.
All except those who are saved. Those who are saved are tho ones who have REPENTED of their sins (turned away from their sins and confessed them to God)and placed their trust in what Jesus Christ did for them and believed that Jesus is the only begotten Son of God.
God demonstrated His love for us in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
How much more could God show that He loves us. Despite the fact that He is just, He still wanted to provide a way for all of us sinners to escape His awful wrath. That one way, the only way is through Jesus.
Yes homosexuality is an abomination to God. It is sin. The unsaved homosexual will spend forever in Hell with all the unsaved religious people, all the unsaved liars, all the unsaved fornicators, all the unsaved heterosexual thieves, all the hetero murderers and all the homosexual religious people. If you've not repented and placed your trust in JEsus Christ you are forever lost and must pay for your sins yourself, and God says that is eternity apart from Him in a place called Hell.
Please if you've not been born again (saved) do so today. The Bible says today is the day of salvation. God called a man a fool for believing he would live another day. God said (paraphrasing) 'You fool! DO you not know that tonight your life will be required of you!?'
Repent of your sins and turn to Jesus Christ now. Then you can live a truly free life, free from the burden of sin.
God commands us to repent, and the greatest commandment of all Jesus said is to love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.
Your sin has made you an enemy of God..Stop being His enemy and start loving Jesus now.
Your eternity depends on it.
It is God's will that you be saved. The Bible says it is not God's will that any should perish, but that all repent and place their trust in Christ Jesus.
I supposed next we'll be forced to watch Viagra commercials featuring gay couples. I don't need to see this stuff. No thank you. It's not main stream to me.
This whole shambles has really show us how many sad people are out there full of hate and intolerance. For those of you so fond of quoting the bible as your excuse for this hate I would like you to quote me any part where Jesus talked out against gays. If we all followed the bible to the letter then we would be stoning/burning and executing each other to the point of extinction. If being gay is a choice then why do people 'Decide' to be gay when they live in countrys that torture them and put them to death.
Lets have some respect for each other and not expect every one to live by our own perceived morality.
I think the ad itself has now become almost irrelevant and it has covered up the fact that brand of mayo is not very good
I am so sick and tired of the gay agenda. Why do we have to accept this lifestyle? They are always shoving their crap down our throats and then turn around and call us intolerant if we don't accept it. I find the gay community one of the most intolerant group of people around. They need to accept the fact that their lifestyle is disordered. Period. Grow up and face it.
The only close minded people here are the ones' who won't accept that there are those of us who find this offensive. Accept the fact that there are people who embrace moral behavior. Homosexual behavior is immoral. Tough to swallow but it's the truth.

You speak as if the God of the Old Testament is a different God than in the New Testament. They are one and the same and homosexuality is condemned in both Testaments as a great sin against a Holy God.
I wish to answer your argument about Jesus not teaching about gay marriages. I think a simple reading of what Jesus said about marriage in general will show you what a careless reader you are.
When the Pharisees questioned Him about divorce, notice what Matthew 19:4-6 says, “4 And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, 5 And said, For this cause (that they are male and female) shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? 6 Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together (a man and a wife), let not man put asunder.”
On divorce He said, “from the beginning it was not so.” Jesus went back to the Creators’ design for marriage and it’s:
1. Participants (male and female)
2. Practicality (leave father and mother)
3. Purpose (the two shall be one flesh)
4. Prohibition (do not put asunder what God joined together)
5. Principle (as His Will was for it to be as in the beginning)
Jesus believed the book of Genesis. He speaks of creation of the world (Mark 13:19), of man (Matthew 19:4), and of the marriage of Adam and Eve (Matthew 19:5-6). He speaks of Abel’s martyrdom (Matthew 23:35), Noah’s flood (Matthew 24:37-39; Luke 17:26-30), Abraham’s faith (John 8:40, 56), Isaac (Luke 13:28), Jacob’s dream (John 1:47-51), and Lot’s wife (Luke 17:32). But He also spoke of the destruction of the Sodomites’ cities of Sodom and Gomorrah (Luke 17:28-32; Matthew 10:15; 11:24; Mark 6:11). If there had been 5 couples in a “loving married relationship” by your perverted view, hundreds of thousands of souls would not have been destroyed. Ten righteous souls is all that were needed to spare the city.
Your attempt to separate the Old Testament and the New Testament and the Old Testament God and the Lord Jesus; is futile and ludicrous. Jesus is the Creator of all and the very one who instituted marriage. You, sir, by your gay marriage views would make Christ a spiritual homosexual. Such blasphemy will not go unnoticed or unpunished by our Ominscient God who in the beginning established His directive Will and made them male and female. Adam said, “this is now bone of my bone and flesh of my flesh. She shall be called woman because she was taken out of man. Therefore, (what’s that “therefore” there for?) shall a man leave his father and mother and cleave unto his wife (woman) and they shall be one flesh.” Genesis 2:23-24
I suggest you repent of your sins and ask God to wash your sins away by the blood Jesus Christ spilled for you. And God, by the power of His Holy Spirit, will change your heart and your mind about sin.
Incidentally, the “Jesus never said anything about it” argument is absurd on its face value. He never mentioned pedophilia, bestiality, cannibalism, rape, wife beating or any number of other sins. The only one who would use such rationale is someone trying to defend some kind of a practice that he is involved in. It’s kind of like a witch defending seances. God in the New Testament addressed it, but Jesus never referred to it, so by your rationale Jesus permits it?
Sin blinds people to their own foolish rationale. Please let Christ set you free from your sin and from the condemnation you are currently in.

I feel the ad showed great creativity and was clever and not at all unsuitable for children, Gay famlies are reality and children should not be protected from that because of Homophobic parents. A Gay commercial will not make your child Gay it may comfort that child to know there are others like Him or Her in the world and cause them a lot less pain and shame in the future. Maybe the offended people should lighten up and chill. However I do wish that Heinz corperation had left it on the air and not let a few people rule their open minded way of thinking.
Shame on Heinz for failing to stand up for all families by cutting the delightful, creative and healing ad about a gay family leaving home for the day. I doubt that 200 people are even 10% of their viewing audience yet the conservative percentage of any given population who are gay is 10%. Heinz didn't even use math to figure out that there are at least 10% of their audience is gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgendered families not to mention their families and friends who love and respect them. That a lot of mayo lost to 200 uninformed viewers. Not smart Heinz!

Have you people no sense of right and wrong? Do you not know that the God that created us all says in His Word the Bible that homosexuality is sin? What is wrong with you that you all cannot see that or won't admit to it? Wake UP! If you have ???'s on what I'm saying, see my earlier comments a page or two back.
Come on, it is sin and it is wrong! It is offensive to a holy God. Please wake up and see that. Don't try to fool yourself and others into thinking it is a lifestyle or that folks are born that way. We are all born sinners yes. But just because I have a tendency to want to tell a lie (which is sin) that doesn't make it okay for me to tell a lie. Same goes for homosexuality. Just because you are born with a desire to sin (which we all are born with sinful natures, doesn't mean it is ok to sin) We must all give account to God.
Repent, confess your sin, trust in the only One who can save you form the wrath of God...His name is Jesus. Call out to Him now.

Either way, religion is a matter of opinion. You can share your opinion, but not force others to live by it. If you can't live by those rules, then keep your religion to yourself.
