I think its disgusting that they removed this advert, and using children as the reason is pathetic, in a age when children are likely to go to school and have a friend who has same sex parents it's wrong to teach them that it is anything other than fine. I actually thought the advert was funny as well, certainly will think twice before buying the product now.
Heinz = 57 varieties.
God = Two varieties - Man and Woman.
Designed for each other a perfect example.
Two men kissing is one of those 57 Varieties.
When the world actually ceases to notice the vile and the abhorent then it's all over.
i personally love the advert. i think its fun and good humored. i think its just political correctness getting out of control. if i were heinz i would rather the 200 people who complain stop using their products.
The gay lobby are onece again behaving like silly paranoid children. Get over it!. 70% of the population don't want the gay lifestyle shoved down their throats on primetime TV.
So what that Heinz pulled an ad.
The fact that Outrage! is getting so upset over the pulling of an ad, and threatening to 'boycott' Heinz products shows them up for the imbeciles that they are.
Much ado about nothing. People need to lighten up and come to terms with the real world...
Not ready for this sort of advertising.
Great ad - witty and subversive. Presumably the objectors are about to head off to the C of E conference to object there too.
I agree with the ad being pulled. Although you sexual preference is your choice, I do not want to see it, and especially do not want my kids to see it.
Seems normal to me.
This is not a good marketing idea! They are a good company with bad marketing is all! I wont buy it!

I almost fell off my chair from seeing these two gals kissing. I don't go around degrading such homosexual acts as long as they don't appear in my immediate surroundings. Heinz has put this commercial which is offensive to a parent raising good kids. Don't allow these acts to be part of the American lifestyle.
What is the big deal ? The ads have been showing heterosexual couples kissing since tv started.I am offended it took this long to support people other than this.
I find it sad that those people who believe that gays and advertising depicting gays should be considered perverse or wrong. The fact is people are gay. Wishing it wasn't so will not make it go away. Having grown up in surroundings where I never had knowledge of anyone who was gay or anything about the gay lifestyle (as some of these 'parents' seem to want to shelter their children in the same way), I knew I was gay and felt very ashamed of what I was feeling. I know some people would say 'good', but the problem is that these same people have kids and when they portray that attitude to their kids, they will also shame them and deprive them of a happy childhood and possibly adulthood. To those parents, don't be surprised if your son or daughter grows up to continue to have those same feelings and they grow away from from you. I have seen it happen time and time again. Unfortunately, if they are constantly told what they are feeling is wrong, they could take other more drastic actions which nobody wants especially their families.
As for those that claim it is an in-your-face assault on the non-gay community to depict such a relationship, what do you think your view is to them?
Silly Faggo-s,
Dix are for chix.HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!! What's next, a guy poppin' his mate in his bum as an advetisement for Preperation H while the kids watch??? Sick, perverse, deviant, unnatural, immoral....shall I go on? If I ever see that kind of crap in public I would definitely interfere and say something. Time for normal people to stand up to this atrocity abd quell it immediately.
I think it is disgusting and sick.
first chance i have had to see the ad - what is the problem with some people ? This is 2008 for goodness sake, i thought it was quite good and amused to see `mom` in the `butch` role. They should NOT have pulled the ad.
should have added - to pander to the minority of homophobes and bigots. By the way i am hetrosexual and proud, what is the big deal in being homosexual and proud.
Is that it? I can't see what all the fuss is about.
I'm with Brooke. I think the majority of the people who complained are actually just idiots who didn't 'get it'. It's not supposed to be a gay couple at all!!
I agree with starpost on advertising...my 11 year old could probably come up with a better ad to sell whatever product it was they were trying to sell. I think they wanted to get the attention. Cheap trick by maybe the advert company to get more publicity. what happened to the classic old commercials...for ketchup(eg)? 'anticipation is making me wait...etc'....get a good tag line for your product and no one will be offended...you will cover the whole market share...strait, not, middle class, not, purple, blue, you catch my drift... I through out everything because the ad was stupid and I am sick of watching dumb tv...you are allowed your opinion and I am also allowed mine...
