I think she and her sister were good role models for the pre-teens and teens for their time. They produced good clean funny movies. They could have turned out confused and messed up, all over the papers, like others of their age who so desperately need guidance.

I don't blame her for feeling the way she does about the media. Those two never seem to seek out the media, the media seeks them. The paparazzi have turned into blood thirsty, money grubbing vampires.

Just because someone is an actor or musician, 'in the public eye', shouldn't give the paparazzi the right to invade another human beings privacy.

I honestly could care less about the private lives of celebrities. In the information and 15 seconds of fame era, there is no mystery or intrigue left, that used to be there prior to the Entertainment Tonights or the Extras. If anything is causing degradation in this world, it's the media.
