HBO goes for more ‘In Treatment’

06/15/2008 - Gabriel Byrne - 62nd Annual Tony Awards - Arrivals - Radio City Music Hall - New York City, NY, USA © Wild1 / PR PhotosThe show was critically acclaimed despite lesser than optimal ratings in its first season.Stars Gabriel Byrne and Dianne Wiest return to the show; Byrne plays a therapist and Wiest a former teacher and now his counselor who helps Byrne navigate his own tangled personal web.The show found viewers through HBO on Demand and TiVo, and has built a steady word of mouth faithful audience.Production will begin in New York this fall, with the new episode scheduled to air sometime next year, the network said in a statement.Returning executive producers for the show include Rodrigo Garcia, Hagai Levi, Stephen Levinson and Mark Wahlberg.
