Described as an satirical action hero, the comic and actor balances absurdism with reality, but never fully commits to the latter. He even pulled off a decent bid for consideration to be included in the South Carolina primary as both a Dem and a GOP candidate."The Report" has passed a milestone and aired its 400th episode. Colbert will also be accepting a real Peabody Award for his Comedy Central show on June 16. Colbert also mentions on the "Report" he will serve as "kingmaker" in this year's election. The "Colbert Bump" is a real phenomenon, and pundits and pols may chuckle - but they watch him like a hawk.
