Katherine Heigl has allegedly angered the writers of her ABC series, "Grey's Anatomy."
Heigl publicly removed herself from any Emmy consideration this year. A show insider told Entertainment Weekly that her comments are "a slap in the face" to the writers on the show.
The source said, “The show bent over backwards to accommodate her film schedule, and then she criticizes the show for lack of material? It's an ungrateful slap in the face to the very writers responsible for her Emmy win in the first place.”
Heigl is rumored to want to segue to film from TV.
Last year Heigl publicly moaned about her salary negotiations, and positioned herself in the middle of the TR Knight and Isaiah Washington gay slur fracas.

This season her character suffered big time. EVERYONE’S character pretty much suffered greatly. And this is not just because of the writers strike. This show has been going down hill since mid third season. Them bending over backwards to accommodate her movie filming career and what not has NOTHING to do with the fact that the writing has become mediocre all of a sudden. An actress is supposed to work with the material she is given, however if that material in it’s self is mediocre, there is only so much and actress can do with it. It’s by no means ungrateful to give criticism to a show that has suffered greatly this season in the creativity aspect. The writers should be ashamed of them selves for letting go like this.
