Tonight is the culmination of season 4 for Bravo's "Top Chef."
Unlike the pedestrian "Hell's Kitchen", this is a higher brow cooking and competition for the true foodies and lovers of culinary excellence.
The Bravo series is hosted by crack chef and restaurateur Tom Colicchio, creator of the Craft Restaurant family. Joining him is stunner Padma Lakshmi, recently divorced from Salman Rushdie, who just finished a tour promoting her second book, "Tangy Tart Hot & Sweet," which celebrates the flavors of Mediterranean and Southeast Asian cuisines.
Tonight "Top Chef" comes to an end with a final kitchen challenge in Puerto Rico, where the series moved last week after being in Chicago.
Left are Richard Blais, from Atlanta's Midtown Kitchen; Stephanie Izard, the chef-owner of Chicago's Bucktown's; and Lisa Fernandes, who worked in Asian fusion restaurants in New York City.
Last week judges' favorite Antonia Lofaso, chef at Los Angeles' Foxtail was axed.
Blais is tipped by many bloggers and fans to take the prize. He previously appeared on Food Network's "Iron Chef America," and squared against chef Mario Batali.
Top Chef on at 10 tonight, Bravo network
