MTV brings Taylor Swift in 'Once Upon A Prom '

Country star Taylor Swift is primed to become an MTV TV star too.
MTV announced that they will dip their toe into the country music pond, and announced their intentions to document country music phenom Taylor Swift’s prom experience on "Once Upon A Prom" and when she co-hosts a week of TRL.
Taylor Swift is now focused on the small screen with upcoming appearances on two MTV shows. On Saturday, June 21st at 3:00PM ET/PT, Taylor enthusiasts can tag along as the songbird attends the biggest event of any girl’s life on "Once Upon A Prom."
To cross-promote, an MTV spécialité - Taylor will also guest-hosts on TRL starting Monday, June 16th through Thursday, June 19th, premiering daily at 3:00PM ET/PT. Her appearance will mark the first time a Nashville music star has held a mic on the show.
"Once Upon a Prom," according to MTV, "will follow Taylor as she takes a break from her busy schedule to attend the prom of a lucky Tuscaloosa, AL high school senior. In the 60-minute special, Taylor, who missed her own prom due to scheduling conflicts, takes a night out to join the senior class of Hillcrest High."
Viewers will watch as "Taylor selects a lucky guy, finds the perfect dress and parties the night away."
