Alice Cooper says appearing on 'The Muppet Show' was a "great experience."
The rock legend appeared on the hit children's TV show in 1978 and enjoyed the experience so much he wants everyone to give it a try.
He said: "Everyone should do 'The Muppet Show' at some point in their life. It was a great experience. When they first asked me to do it I said 'No, I'm Alice Cooper!' Then I saw a show with Peter Sellers and John Cleese and Vincent Price and I knew I had to do it."
Cooper played one of the devil's henchmen who tried to get muppets Kermit and Gonzo to sell their souls.
He added: "I was trying to get Kermit to sell his soul to be a rock star and The Muppets were much hipper than any of the rock stars I knew. They had such personalities. You'd be rehearsing with Miss Piggy, up on the stand because the guy would be underneath controlling her, but you'd completely forget - you'd talk to her!"
