Cowell told Seymour that he would cast John Candy as Jackson and Dudley Moore would portray Ryan Seacrest. When asked who would play Paula Abdul, Cowell responded, “Elizabeth Taylor….now.” And finally, who would take on Cowell himself? “Bella Lugosi…He was a silent movie actor who played the first Dracula.
