EPA/JASON SZENESSeason 5 of the hit real-life series "Dog the Bounty Hunter" premieres Wednesday, July 16 at 9 p.m.Duane "Dog" Chapman was officially free from his ongoing Mexican legal ordeal in January 2008. A three-judge panel in Mexico unanimously ruled that the criminal charges against Dog, his son, Leland Chapman, and his brother, Tim Chapman, were to be dismissed and that they could not be extradited to Mexico to face criminal charges for their 2003 capture of serial rapist and fugitive Andrew Luster.Now the new season will pick up with Duane “Dog” Chapman and his posse capturing fugitives week to week in adrenaline fueled hunts in Hawaii and Colorado. A&E notes that reruns of the series will begin Wednesday, June 25 at 9:00PM ET/PT.Additionally, viewers who tune in to season 5 will have the opportunity to view never-before-seen episodes from the series fourth season, throughout the course of the new season.Dog the Bounty Hunter has been one of the highest rated real life series on cable since it launched in 2004. The last season of the hit show averaged nearly 2 million viewers per premiere episode. Dog the Bounty Hunter Season 5 will highlight the series 100th episode of the series.

we are happy dog and beth chapman and kids and the team and bobby brown and mary ellen that why they keep world safer and i enijoy what they do we need them around they are #1 bounty hunter and tv show too. we love the work they do keep them going amen.
