'Dancing with the Stars' Cristián takes a surprise tumble

If we survive this week, I’m pretty sure we would have the tango next week. I’m really looking forward to it because I was born in Santiago, Chile, but very close to Argentina. Tango, for me, is a beautiful dance about life and death. It’s a very passionate dance. I’m really looking forward to it," said Cristián.Cristián had a muscle cramp while dancing the samba with Cheryl Burke on "Dancing with the Stars" last night. In the video below, you see Cristián grab his arm and tried to continue the dance without thaqt arm's use, to no avail. Burke wound up on the floor looking at him in a daze.Cristián was apologetic and held his arm in pain as the camera panned to his wife in the audience. Cheryl Burke kept reaching for Cristian to pick her up off the floor, but he was not able to do so. The medical personnel that service the show declared Cristián suffered a "muscle cramp." Now Extra confirms that Cristián de la Fuente was taken to hospital.Cristián de la Fuente was carried away on a stretcher after last night’s show. Accompanied by his wife, de la Fuente was taken in an ambulance to the ER after suffering a severe muscle cramp during his dance routine. Partner Cheryl Burke told Extra reporters, “I heard a pop…I thought it was my dress but afterward he told me ‘My arm popped.’”de la Fuente will need to see a specialist, but he assured Extra he will not be leaving DWTS.
