Neil Patrick Harris' worst nightmare is coming true: Stunt casting is taking over his hit show,"How I Met Your Mother."
The actor was quoted by the Associated Press as not being in favor of more repeat business with Britney Spears, which he later stated was taken out of context, yet the news agency did not issue any retraction. LINK
Now the CBS sitcom "How I Met Your Mother" will see Britney Spears come back for a repeat of her ditzy receptionist role.
AOL News claims that May 12th will mark the singer's return to the popular series.
Abby the receptionist is Spears' character.
Executive producer Craig Thomas stated, "We're all so thrilled to have Britney joining us once again."
The show will see Barney and Abbie realize that they share a mutual hatred for Ted. Posing as a couple, they team up to torture Ted.
The event sets up Barney to ask a surprise question to Abbie. Will she become a recurring character? More importantly, do you want her to be a regular cast member?

I've never watched this show, and this would be a even bigger incentive to continue not watching.
