Although I don't normally watch this type of programing, I watched with interest, because Brett is from an 80's band and was popular in my generation.
So Brett isn't in love, and the whole show was to find someone to like? That means he lied to the audience and to the girls about his own motives all the way through the whole event. I'm feeling really cheated here and won't be watching him anymore.
the show was for Brett to find a girl that would be comfortable with the fact that he is going to be gone on the road for weeks at a time and he's going to be with other chicks. His stay at home girl would have to be cool with this.
He never promised exclusivity. Watch the show again this weekend when they repeat it. Pay close attention to how carefully he uses the word lifestyle.
My question , being what do his two daughters think og Daddy herding in a girlfriend? Does he plan on bringing them around this woman he finds, do they watch his show? Does he only bring them up to prove his is a mature male looking for a stable woman? And how long before they have a show? Bret is hot granted, but he is a rockstar/Father of two daughters who will watch this show and wonder is this really what my Daddy does?
I didn't watch the whole season 2 because i figured it would be the same as season 1. Not only was i right but this mindless entertainment 3 ring circus of show also proves what liars this sad bunch of wannabe actresses and a washed up guitar hero would do for a little air time.
Don't get me wrong...I totally dig the show. But in the finale didn't he say 'I didn't find my rock of like, I didn't find my rock of lust, I found my rock of love.' I'm confused?
Did ya notice how Bret is puttin on the pounds? Hmmm, he needs to think about that. The show was interesting in that it really shows women how incredibly ignorant we can act in order to get a man's attention. I watch for that lesson alone. Rock stars are what they are, like men who can't commit, they just keep floatin til their old age catches them, they marry some young gold-digger, have a kid, and chill. Whatever..who's to say right or wrong? It is what it is. Take your own lesson and move on.
Amber is a very smart attractive woman. Someone else will have seen it and eventually her Prince Charming will sweep her away from a chaotic life and she'll be the happier for it. Surely she had a good time...do ya think?
I would never say this outloud, but I did watch the show religiously. The idea that these women attempt(act) to find love in such barbaric circumstances is too entertaining to miss. It was obvious that Amber was trying to make a name for herself, rather than find love; or so it seemed. As for Brett, It appears he may have had one party too many; but I still loved watching the show. Of course they 'tried' to mislead the viewers to believe he had found his ROL. Amber mentioned in an article they edited the show a lot, and that it may not have always reflected the true situation at hand. They both win though! It was pure entertainment.
Well, he may not have been honest to begin with about his intentions of finding 'true love'; however, he at the very least is honest about the fact that one can only dream of finding that kind of Love on a TV show. That's because it is only that, a dream. He did this I think to find someone to hang with and of course for some advertising. Smart guy! Not sure about all the girls he was with though. They seem like a bunch of desperate flesh seekers to me. In Love? I mean, seriously. What was it, Daisy was like 'I'm so in Love with you Bret'. I guarantee, he was laughing in each and every one of their faces underneath that wonderfully scripted facade. Were these girls seriously thinking that this guy was just gonna 'fall' head over heels in love and protest his dying Love on national T.V.? I think they were! Talk about the level of low self worth! I feel kind of sorry for each and every one of them. I will say; however, that there were a few and I say a few liberally here, that really had it together. I could tell that they knew straight from the get go that this was just fun and games and that although they may have 'fallen' for the guy in a crush kind of way (you know us girls can get caught up in that freaky fluffy crap), that this wasn't the 'real deal' and I'm sure neither one of them were just going to let go of thier normal every day to day life because they 'thought' they were in love. Pa leese.
Yea, I did get hooked on this silly entertainment. But I guess I was kidding myself when I believed (!!!) that Brett was more than a little disgusted of the line of bimbos and 'ho's' who trampled thru', and STATED that he was finished with this concept and didn't want to continue another season. And so now, wow, SURPRISE he is at it again! Well, although attractive ( & I hear very well 'built'), he is getting older and chubbier and maybe it IS time to give it up. On a quick glance of this season's show, I also was aware of how much skankier the females(NOT ladies) are.The $$$$$$$$$$ must be what is saying it all, 'cause the apparently the horrible economy must be affecting Hollywood as much or more than the rest of us NORMAL folks.I am done watching this person make a total ass of himself anymore....
I just love all these women having there catty cat-fights
for as said hot monkey sex. I am sure mommy & daddy are very
proud of there daughters.I wonder if he got the idea for this
show from Lee Michaels' Do You Know What I Mean'.
