Elizabeth Keener and Here! team for new drama series

Gay network Here! has signed a development deal with Elizabeth Keener ("The L Word") for a new drama series, described as a cross between "The Silence of the Lambs" and "Twin Peaks."The Hollywood Reporter claims Keener will also be developing the show as well as starring as a lesbian FBI agent sent on an extended undercover assignment in a mysterious small town. Keener's character will deal with her personal life as she becomes more ingrained into the lives of the town's inhabitants.Keener most recently played Dawn Denbo on Showtime's The L Word.“Elizabeth Keener is extraordinarily talented, and we feel truly fortunate to be in business with her on this exciting project," said Meredith Kadlec, senior vice president of original programming for Here!.
