Catherine Tate often gambles with her 'Doctor Who' co-star David Tennant on set.
The comic star - who stars as the Doctor's assistant Donna Noble in the new series of the hit TV show - has revealed she uses her spare time to play cards with David.
She said: "Everyone involved in 'Doctor Who' is great. Between each take we all rush out to play cards. David is very competitive - we did contemplate playing for money but people are so cut throat it would get ugly."
Catherine also revealed she was stunned when she was first shown the prototype for a doll version of her character.
She added to Britain's Elle magazine: "I was shown the prototype of my doll - Donna is being made into a collectible. The resemblance is a good one - I was really impressed actually."
