Actor Steve Guttenberg and his professional partner Anna Trebunskaya were the third couple eliminated from Dancing with the Stars' sixth season during last night's live results show broadcast on ABC.
Low scores from the judges combined with home viewer votes cast immediately following the broadcast sealed the deal.
"I'm just going to miss seeing everybody all week. I love everyone and I've had such a good time here," said Guttenberg. "It's made me a better person. I got to dance with Anna, who's such a pro. The one thing I'd say is I have a wonderful family and friends, and I have a great life. I'm so lucky."
Guttenberg and his partner danced the Jive: "Oh Gutt! What are we going to do with you? I can't talk to you like that," said judge Carrie Ann Inaba. "Actually, that was your best dance so far... Completely determined. You set that pace -- you set that tone. It was sharp, it was snappy. Still could use a little more dynamics."
Fellow Dancing with the Stars' judge Len Goodman commented how the actor in Steve "came out" during the performance.
"You captured the flavor of the dance," said Len. "I watched your feet -- the footwork was fantastic. Again, I'm going to agree, a much improved performance."
"I'm really lucky that Anna and Jonathan are married and that she sent him here to save the day," said Steve. "I love dancing the tango with Jonathan. He's a great dancer -- a little hairier than Anna -- but I really enjoyed it."
Priscilla Presley and partner Louis van Amstel received a 26 for their tango, giving them an edge over telenovela actor Christian de la Fuente and his partner Cheryl Burke, whose Jive received a 25. Actress Shannon Elizabeth and her hospitalized partner Derek Hough received a 24 for their jive.
The bottom performers were Tony Award-winning actress Marissa Jaret Winokur and her partner Tony Dovolani, who received a 19 for their jive.
Dancing with the Stars next episode broadcast will air Monday, April 7 at 8PM ET/PT, in which each of the nine remaining couples will perform another routine.
