Michael Jackson's Devon TV show
Apr 2, 2008, 10:25 GMT
Michael Jackson and his family are set to star in a reality TV show.
The hour-long Channel 4 documentary will follow the musical troupe as they try and fit in with the local community in a small Devon fishing village, in the South West of England.
The family will move into a rented five-bedroom holiday home in the quaint town of Appledore, near Barnstaple, in May.
Tito, who is a judge on BBC 1 talent show 'Just The Two Of Us', will be permanently based at the property, while his superstar sibling Michael, sister Janet, brother Jermaine and parents Joseph and Katherine will fly out for visits.
Last month, Tito - who also has three other brothers, Marlon, Jackie and Randy, and another sister La Toya - revealed he was house-hunting in the area because the family wanted a hideaway in the idyllic English countryside.
Tito said: "My family love North Devon and the wonderful countryside and friendly people, I'm really looking forward to buying a home here. Michael likes it here too, as no one bothers him.
"I am looking forward to living in Barnstaple and I hope the Barnstaple public will respect our family's privacy."
Tito's friend, bodyguard Matt Fiddes, is behind the Channel 4 TV deal, and said the move could be a more long-term arrangement.
He said: "The brothers want to move here permanently."
Channel 4 said talks are in the early stages.

This is awesome, and I hope it is true. I love the Jacksons especially Michael. No matter what, MJ is the King of Pop, a child prodigy, and a legend. I really hope his 2008 album will come soon or that he will perform again. His tickets will sell out in minutes I bet like the Madison Square Garden Concert in 2001.
MJ is the best, and without his music, dancing, performances, music videos, etc there would be no Usher, Chris Brown, Rihanna, Neyo, Omarian, JT, Britney, etc. Music sucks these days compared to MJ-mania during the 80s and 90s.
This will probably be one of the most watched shows on Channel 4 as well as with other MJ performances aired live like his documentary, NY performance, superbowl performance, etc. I love Michael Jackson :)
