Tori Spelling wants to play a "sexy mom" in the new 'Beverly Hills 90210' spin-off series.
The pregnant mother-of-one is determined to have a starring role in the new show - which will focus on the new principal of West Beverly High School moving his family of four from Kansas to California - and thinks she would be perfect in a maternal role.
She said: "I would love to be a part of it. I think it's a really good idea. '90210' was really the first of its kind, the first teen drama. It kind of laid the way for other shows like 'Dawson's Creek' and 'The O.C.'
"Who would I play? I would play the sexy mom obviously! Every teen drama has a hot mom - a stepmother, of course, because I couldn't possibly have a teenage daughter!"
The pilot of the new show is being written by 'Veronica Mars' creator Rob Thomas.
Thomas is also hoping to bring back some of the other original cast members, including Luke Perry and Shannon Doherty.
He said: "There is a plan for bringing back some of the cast members."
Tori, whose late father Aaron created the popular show, played Donna Martin from 1990 to 2000.
