The 22-year-old actress will be playing a snarky role.Michelle Trachtenberg was on the critically acclaimed and cult hit Nickelodeon series “Pete & Pete” in 1993, and she is also best known for her role as Dawn Summers on “Buffy the Vampire Slayer.”Trachtenberg hs two films coming out as well, she recently wrapped "Seventeen Again," with Zac Efron, and will be seen in "Kids in America." The "Gossip" role was thought to be one that actress Mischa Barton coveted.
