NBC spy Christian Slater

11/27/2007 - Christian Slater - © Solarpix / PR PhotosThe Hollywood Reporter writes that Universal Media Studios, where Smilovic has his deal --is pushing the "The Bourne Identity" meets "Jekyll & Hyde" project. The series would focus on a mild-mannered suburban dad (Slater) who's alter ego is a spy.Slater has had guest spots on NBC's "The West Wing" and ABC's "Alias," he had mostly avoided the medium.The Reporter claims the series was put in active development at the network shortly before the management shakeup at NBC that brought in Ben Silverman and Teri Weinberg as the top two executives.
