'The Return of Jezebel James' lackluster premiere

11/15/2007 - Parker Posey - © Wild1 / PR PhotosDespite solid actresses Posey Parker and Lauren Ambrose, the series is described as a "misfire" and "infantile" by various news outlets.Parker plays Sarah, a salaried children's book editor who suddenly decides she wants a child of her own. Enter ne'er-do-well sis Coco (Lauren) to perhaps "carry" a baby for her. Coco is a failure to launch type into her 20s, crashing on friends' living room couches, no career to speak of. According to TV Guide, Fox cut its original order to only seven episodes, which means the series will most likely disappear after its run.
